Slow Cooker Lasagna
Want to set it and forget it? That’s exactly what this slow cooker lasagna recipe allows you to do. Just don’t forget to set a timer.
Time
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 4 hours
Total Time: 4 hours and 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 lb. package of Italian sausage roll
1 (9 oz.) package of no-boil lasagna noodles
12 oz. of ricotta cheese
3 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
2 (26 oz.) jars of pasta sauce
1 tbsp of dried parsley
Directions
- If your slow cooker requires a non-stick spray, make sure you use it prior to adding ingredients.
- Break apart the sausage and cook it in a skillet over medium heat until it is browned.
- This is the easy part. Simply add all ingredients into the slow cooker and stir them gently to mix them up evenly. Just save 1 cup of mozzarella for the very end of your cook time. For a more classic lasagna feel, you can always form layers by alternating noodles on top of the other ingredients and so on until you run out of ingredients.
- Finally, place the lid on your slow cooker and cook for 4 hours. With about 5 minutes remaining, sprinkle the last cup of mozzarella cheese on top, and then cover the cooker again to let the cheese melt for the last few minutes. Enjoy!
